Eng. Alfred Bogere has over sixteen (16) years’ experience in the communication ecosystem, including policy and regulatory matters, gained from previous roles working with a telecommunication operator and the regulator.
Eng. Bogere holds a Bachelor of Science degree (honors) in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering from the University of Pinar Del Rio, Republic of Cuba, a Master of Science degree in Datacommunications and Software Engineering from Makerere University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kisubi.
He previously worked at Uganda Telecommunications Limited as a Radio Network Planning Engineer. Prior to his current appointment at Uganda Communications Commission, Eng. Bogere worked as Manager, Radio Spectrum Planning and Authorization; Head, Radio Spectrum Management; and Head, Communications and Infrastructure Services.
